The Challenge
Alliance Air, one of the largest air cargo handling companies in the United States, is responsible for the safety and security of millions of dollars worth of precious cargo passing through airports in New York, Chicago, Miami and Atlanta. A dedicated security team based in Chicago relied on a digital video recording system to monitor more than one million square feet (93,000 sq m) of warehouse facilities in the four cities, but the system was unable to provide more than 12 days of archived video.

The Solution
State-of-the-art March Networks 4000 Series DVR systems were installed in July 2005. They provide the Alliance Air security team with an average of 90 days worth of video storage and better video quality. The systems are also more reliable and more efficient to operate.
