Transforming The Way You View Your Business

Technology for Financial Institutions

Flexible Recorder Options
March Networks provides IP-based video systems and software to address the specific needs of financial institutions. Our Linux-based video recorders offer unmatched Figure 1performance, storage and reliability. They provide the highest video quality, and scale from single 4-camera units to a seamless web of many thousands of analog and IP cameras spread anywhere your network reaches. Open IP software and third-party encoders allow this video capture and management infrastructure to be deployed on industry-standard servers and storage arrays for complete IT-department control.

Figure 2 Enterprise management tools ensure the entire infrastructure, from cameras to hard-drives to the video network itself, is monitored centrally, effectively and efficiently. Remote diagnostics, internal watch-dogs and the ability to automatically notify personnel to any anomalies, including camera tampering, alarm cuts, hard-drive fatigue and much more, also mean less time spent on maintenance and a significantly lower cost of ownership.

ATM and Teller Transaction Capture

Local or centralized linkage of video records with ATM and/or teller transaction data provides for more effective incident investigations and resolution. All March Networks recorders support this integration. Key features include:

  • Integration of video records and data streams directly at each ATM and Teller station as appropriate (i.e., 'Local' text capture)
  • Unique alternative for integration of video and data at a centralized transaction server instead – a single point of integration, inside a secure, IT controlled environment (i.e., 'Enterprise' integration)
  • In either deployment, graphical search for rapid and efficient evidence retrieval
  • Integrated Case Management tools for advanced processing of evidence and more effective case resolution
